Julie is a coming 9 year old, Buckskin/Dunskin mare that is total eye candy but the best part about her is more than what meets the eye!
Julie stands between 14.3 and 15H with the dun stripes on her legs and down her back. She is carrying the Shining C brand on her shoulder who is one of the most prolific breeders in the country of grulla, dun and buckskin horses.
Julie is a registered Quarter Horse and has a great pedigree with Prety Farm 953. Julie has the color, the size, the build, the mind, the safty, she has been ridden by beginners and she has the rideability!
Julie is easy to handle, she tacks up quietly, stands to mount and rides off slow and easy like a good horse should do! We have had Julie since back in the spring and I have used her for trail riding and ranch work. She has been out on some cow catching jobs and handles herself with poise even in tense high stress situations.
She has roped in the pasture, held the rope tight while I tied them down, drug cows on the trailer and stands her ground against mad ones. Out on the trails, Julie is great and loves to go trail riding. She will cross obstacles and goes over any terrain.
She has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey and will go anywhere that she is asked too. She will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Julie will lope nice circles,
she takes her leads, stops and backs as well. She has been ridden in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. She has a great attitude about whatever she is asked to do. Contact us for more details
